Progress

We are finally making progress on dropping off Gunga at preschool. Today was the first day I didn' have to have Gunga peeled off my leg by one of the preschool teachers. There was still crying, but no desperate attempt to break free of the steel like grip of the teacher and run pell mell toward the fence. There was still the desperate plea for me to come back, but he was done crying before I drove off. So, there is light at the end of the tunnel. There may come a day when I am able to drop Gunga off at school like all the other parents do. YAY!!!!

Other news, the regional HR director made a couple visits to our plant today playing the "Grim Reaper" informing 3 fellow employees that their jobs have been eliminated due to centralizing of duties. They have a job until the end of the year. Looks like I made it through this elimination round, but seeing the HR guy is starting to give me the jibbies.
