Lazy (???) Saturday

Another lazy saturday. . . um yea.

I acutally got to sleep "in" until about 6:45 this morning. That should not have been a surprise since Gunga didn't stop telling me he was done sleeping until about 10:30 last night. Goober-head. I then got up, washed up, and decided it was shorts weather so then I took a few minutes to shave the legs. If you knew me, you would know that is something that is not normally done - well at least in the cold weather. Anyway - shave I did. Then, I packed up a few things, woke the boy up, and we went on our merry way.
First up was to stop at Peach's house to drop off Gunga before I went to my WW meeting. When asked how I was doing I stated not so great. I lost .8 of a pound, but that is due to the change from jeans to shorts. I then proceeded to tell the leader that it has been really hard trying to stay on program. This is most likely due to trying to deal with the death of my father and my brother. It is hard to want to eat to feel better when you already feel crappy - you know? The leader, a very wise woman, said to let the pressure of trying to lose weight go and just deal with the loss. She then got quasi-poetic and started talking about the big lap in the sky and all. She was very helpful. Then, wonder of wonders, today's topic was motivation and keeping motivated. I hope that will prove helpful. We will see how it goes tomorrow.
Anyway, after the meeting, I went back to Peach's, and then Gunga, Peach, her mother (visiting for the weekend) and I went to the salon for Peach and I had hair cut appointments. After the hair appointments, we went to a sub-divison rummage sale, which we finished up quickly after seeing hard cover books (not 1st editions or collectibles - just regular hard cover books) for $10 - childrens books for $4. Too pricey for our blood!
Since then, we have been painting, getting girl scout camp paperwork ready, eating lunch, and watching Peach's girlfriend's husband replace a porch light and put up street numbers on Peach's house. So, not really all that busy - but it is only 3:30 and there is still a ton of day left.
I had just called Bobo (my husband) who passed on dinner since he worked last night and is going to sleep after he showers (he just finished mowing the grass - so he is spent). So, dinner is up to Gunga and I - probably take out - again.
I will be taking a few days off in a about 1.5 weeks to help out a day camp. So all of my time at work until then will be ensuring that all the work that cannot wait will get covered and the proper people will get the proper training. Let me tell you - so much fun!
And, after a conference call on Friday, it looks like I will be traveling to corporate headquarters for a meeting again in the near future.
Well, Gunga needs me to fix his handle bars on his trike again - so off I go.
Wish me luck on . . . well, everything!
